Ustaadhah Shazia Ahmed holds an ijaazah (official certificate) in Tajweed for Qaida Nuraniah from Al-Furqan Group and is a native of India. She graduated from Umm al Qura University in Makkah, Saudi Arabia with a diploma in Arabic language and Islamic Studies, where she earned the award of “Ideal Student of the Year.” She is the head instructor and founder of Tabaarak Academy and has worked as a translator and daiyah for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where she currently resides.
